Hello,

I think I am facing the same problem here. I setup Articles Good Search on AJAX and it's working perfectly, however, the URL gets the search parameters (something like "?gsearch=1&moduleId=156" in the URL) when I search. This is a problem since the user gets and error when turning back on it's browser.

So on, I changed the method for post, both in the template of the module (here I found only one match for method="get" and changed it to method="post". In the plugin file model.php I changed "foreach($_GET as $param=>$value) {" to "foreach($_REQUEST as $param=>$value) {" as instructed on previous posts. I also changed the file "model-two-fields-date-range.php" just in case.

The module is working properly, but I still get this search parameters in the URL after hitting Search, so maybe I am missing something, or maybe I misunderstood this topic and these are two different problems?

Thank you and best regards,

Hello, Adrian.

If you changed search form method to 'POST' then you should not see any parameters in the url then.
Try to check if you really modified the right template file or send me a link for check.

In addition:

In case with Ajax search type, you also need to modify this file - modules\mod_articles_good_search\tmpl\Default\elements\ajax_search.php

And remove dynamic url update.
Find and remove this lines:

history.pushState.............
