Hi there,

I purchased the Joomla Articles Good Search module yesterday an set everything up:
www.hausaerzteverband-wl.de/index.php/service/fortbildungen2

I load the module in the main-top position - above an empty article.

But I'd like to display everything like you did in your demo:
joomcar.net/joomla-articles-good-search-demo

How did you set it up?
How do you load all articles at first load?

I have a strange behaviour on my site when you follow these steps:
1. Click on "Suchen" (Search)
2. Click on "Corona-Wissen To Go..."
3. Click ob browser-back-button
4. Choose Typ - Online Fortbildung in first Dropdown
5. Click on "Suchen"
Now you have 2 different search results...?!

Thank you very much for a quick response.

Regards
Matthias

Hello, Agentur.

Thanks for your purchase.

1) It is Articles -> Blog menu item type on initial page.

2) Yes, it is because general search results shown in Component area + dynamically loaded ajax search results. You can fix it by change 'Html block for show search results in Ajax mode' parameter and set your site template's main compoent area's id or class, it is #tm-content in your case.

Thanks for your answer. Looks better now :)

Two other questions:

1. How can I avoid scrolling to search results after form submit? I tried removing id="gsearch-results" from the search results div, but that didn't help. I'd like to auto scroll to the 3 filter dropdowns...

2. How can I add another date format? I'd need 01.01.2012 or 01. Jan 2012

Thank you in advance!

Regards
Matthias

Hello, Agentur.

1) You need to override and modify this template file - modules\mod_articles_good_search\tmpl\Default\elements\ajax_search.php

Find this line:
scrollTop: jQuery("<?php echo $ajax_container; ?>").offset().top - 70

Then replace <?php echo $ajax_container; ?> with the anchor you want to scroll to.

2) It is possible only with the module core file modification, it is coded in modules\mod_articles_good_search\mod_articles_good_search.xml
You can find this:
<option value="%e %b %Y::d M yyyy">1 Jan 2012</option>
<option value="%e %B %Y::d MM yyyy">1 January 2012</option>
<option value="%b %e %Y::M d yyyy">Jan 1 2012</option>
<option value="%B %e %Y::MM d yyyy">January 1 2012</option>

Then append:
<option value="%d.%m.%Y::dd.mm.yyyy">01.01.2012</option>

I will add it into the release.
