Can Article Good Search be used to replace the Joomla Smart search? I would like to search Categories, Titles and content of articles and news feeds. The Joomla Smart search produces errors when trying to index article content becase of HTML in the article content. Can Article Good Search handle this?

Yes, you can use it to search for articles, but not for categories.
